Re. Temporary East Stand 2009/10 Season - Application for Section 26 Order

The Recreation Ground Trust issued a statement on 8 April 2008 confirming that the Trust had written to the Charity Commission formally requesting they make a Section 26 order to provide for the Trust to enter into a new lease to accommodate the East Stand to cover the Premiership season 2009/10.   The Trust indicated that the Section 26 Order was justified on the grounds it should be possible within the period of the extension to achieve an outcome in relation to the long term that will be acceptable to all parties given the progress that has been made so far.
