Bath Recreation Ground (The Rec)

The Recreation Ground is one of Bath’s most important open spaces, set over 6.2 hectares (15.5 acres) within the very centre of Bath.  It has been used by Bath & North East Somerset and the former Bath City Council and Corporation as a base for a wide variety of sporting and recreational uses since it was acquired in 1956. Activities and users include premiership rugby, county cricket, many activities with Bath Sports & Leisure Centre, a number of local sports, community groups, concerts (most recently Westlife, Simply Red, Jamie Cullum), charity events and much more.
